Gaines and I just bought two tickets to see "The Hunger Games" on Sunday!! Anyone else super excited? We thought....
Anyways, we also watched "Courageous" this past weekend, which is a great movie that was made by a church in Albany, Georgia. While the acting's not the best, the message is awesome. It got me thinking about other good movies we had watched lately ($1 for a movie in RedBox? Yes, please!) and I wanted to share some of our my recent favorites.
Courageous

The Hangover: Part II

Cars 2
When star racecar Lighting McQueen and the incomparable tow truck Mater head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix, Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage.
The Help
A young white woman in the early 1960s in Mississippi becomes interested in the plight of the African-American domestic servants that every family has working for them. She writes their stories about mistreatment, abuse and heartbreak, all just before the Civil Rights revolution.
Friends with Benefits
A headhunter recruits a magazine editor for a job, and both realize they are too busy to find a mate. They agree to sleep together with no strings attached; however, things start to get complicated.
Water for Elephants
A 90-year-old man reminisces about his life during the Depression, when he found work at a B-level circus taking care of the animals. He sees the brutality of circus life while falling for the wife of an abusive animal trainer.
Oh, and all of the movie synopses above came from
Movie Insider. Any other good ones I left off the list?
And besides "The Hunger Games" I also can't wait to see "The Vow" and "The Lorax." With such expensive movie theater tickets, though, those last two will just have to wait until they make their little way into the RedBox.
Happy Thursday!
