This past weekend Amy was home and wanted to snap some Story family photos...what a perfect reason to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and the blooming cotton. :)

I recently jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon and have to say I am officially obsessed.  I love searching for new ideas and inspiration, and Pinterest makes it so easy with their huge selection of pictures and organized boards.  Everything from decorating ideas and DIY tips to trendy clothes and tasty recipes are literally right at your fingertips.

After I had searched around a little bit, I made my first board, which was Christmas-themed.

 I'm not quite sure it's normal to be this excited about Christmas in October, but I am so ready for the candy canes, stockings, Christmas music, nativy scenes, wreaths, Christmas trees, lights, decorating, etc.

I Feel Home

When I was home this past weekend, I was able to see my amazing group of best friends from high school.  Before I left for UGA I remember adults telling me that high school friendships rarely last, though I prayed they were wrong.  And even though we all went to different colleges and now live in different cities and states, we fortunately have a bond that distance can't break. When we do finally see each other, it's as if no time has passed at all and a huge sense of happiness immediately washes over me. They are all so wonderful, funny, supportive, and genuine, and I am incredibly thankful for their friendships the past ten years. Here's to at least sixty more!
