Walls Wedding

Last weekend I made another trip to Virginia for the wedding of my two friends Matt and Brittany.  Unfortunately, Gaines had to work and stayed home, but thankfully most of the other husbands had other obligations, too, so we turned it into a "girls weekend."   

On Saturday we drove to Charlottesville, which is about 45 minutes west of Richmond and met at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard.  We ate our lunch and drank red wine while sitting on a blanket overlooking the mountains.  Not a bad way to spend a Saturday if you ask me. ;) 

We went back to the hotel (picture six girls sharing a room) and got ready for the wedding.  They had a party bus take us to the ceremony, and it was so much fun to get to know Brittany's friends from high school on our way.  The wedding was held at Veritas Vineyard and Winery, which was just beautiful.  Brit looked amazing and the ceremony was so sweet.

The reception was also held at the vineyard and was just decorated to the nines.  The food was amazing, the wine was delicious, and we had so much fun dancing and laughing the night away.

Fleming Wedding

Shew! What a busy couple of weeks it's been.  Out of a total of 14 days, I spent the better part of 7 of them in Virginia... and of course loved every minute. :)  

Two weekends ago we flew up to D.C. for our good friends Jen and Chris' wedding!  We didn't get in until late, but were so excited (but totally not surprised at all) to walk in from the airport at 1am and find our friends still at the hotel bar.  

On Saturday we headed over to my best friend Demetria and her sweet husband Matt's house for brunch with our friends and time with their perfect babies!  I am not exaggerating in the least bit when I say Matthew (7 months) and Charlie (20 months) are the two cutest kids in the entire world.  Ever.  It just made my heart so happy getting to spend time with them! 

We then went back to the hotel and got ready for the wedding.  The directions on our phones took us to the wrong place, not once, but TWICE, but thankfully we walked in with seconds to spare.  The ceremony was adorable, and I just loved watching Schniz and Chris become husband and wife. :) 

The reception was just fabulous (as I knew it would be!), and I loved every second I got to spend with my best friends.  We had the best time catching up, dancing, and celebrating the newlyweds. :)

Keep Calm and Fiesta On

Two weekends ago Jason, Caroline, Gaines, and I hosted a shower for our friends Bo and Christey, who are getting married in a few short weeks.  We decided to throw them a fiesta-themed "Stock the Bar" shower, because who doesn't love Mexican and drinking?!  Kidding. ;)  The weather could not have been any more perfect and we had a great time planning, decorating, and celebrating with our friends!  

We can't wait for the big day in April!!
