Three years ago I got to spend a couple of weeks in paradise with four of my best friends. Demetria, Stephanie, Emily, Gabby, and I traveled around Greece together and stayed a couple of nights in Santorini, where my mom's best friend owns a house.
Right across the street from Aunt Gina and Uncle Jimmy's house is the greatest little restaurant called Santorini-Mou.
The owner is known for serenading you during your meal...
and taking your picture, which gets added to one of hundreds of books filled with their visitors throughout the years.
My parents just got back from a soccer-related trip to Europe, but they got to sneak away to Santorini for a few days. Since they, too, stayed at Aunt Gina and Uncle Jimmy's, they of course visited our their new bffs at Santorini-Mou.
They searched and searched for our picture page, finally found it, and added a note!!
It's brought back so many amazing memories thinking about that trip, and it's nice to know a little piece of us will always be there. :)
