So, TEN YEARS ago today I graduated high school!  How did this happen and where did the time go??!  

I graduated from Godwin with about 475 people, so our graduation was held at VCU's Siegel Center, and I am forever thankful to my parents, brother, sister, and grandparents who sat in the audience for a couple of hours while all of those names were called. ;)  And I definitely cried at the end when our chorus sang Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" as I thought about leaving my friends and family for college.  I could only find one picture on my computer of me in my cap and gown from that night, and I'm not quite sure who I cropped out or why.

We stayed around for a few minutes taking pictures, like this one of me and my oldest friend Brooke...

After graduation we all went over to someone's house to celebrate...

...and the next day some of the girls drove down to Allison's river house for some fun in the sun.

If you had asked me on graduation night where I would see myself in ten years, I honestly don't think I would have said living in Georgia, but I would have more than likely said that I would be:

A UGA graduate (check)
A teacher (check)
Married to a cute Southern boy (check)
Close with my family (check)
Best friends with my high school friends (check)
Happy (double check!)  

It's amazing to think how quickly these past ten years have gone, but what a great ten years its been!
