For Memorial Day weekend we hit the open road for Virginia. We got kind of a late start and didn't end up getting in until 2am, but waking up to this view makes it so worth it!!
On Saturday we took the golf cart up to the Maritime Museum and then into town for the first annual Seafood Festival. We ended up ordering from a Greek food truck, which was a biiiig mistake. It took forever and wasn't the best, but it was still fun to catch up and people watch in line. ;) We spent the rest of the day at the pool with everyone, and then took the boat over to the Quinns for a drink before having the Matthews over for dinner.
The next morning we had a huge, amazing breakfast and then spent a few hours in the water before we had to head to Williamsburg for a wedding. Sammy came in from out of town that morning, so we got to see him for a few hours, too, which was great!
It was SO hard to leave, but we had a great time at Drew and Libby's wedding that night with our friends. More pictures coming soon!
